The United States is undergoing an Electric Revolution. The Biden Administration has set a goal for half of all car sales to be electric or hybrid by 2030. To support such an ambitious goal, both federal and private sectors are heavily investing in the development of sustainable electric infrastructure throughout the country. The Southeast and its automotive corridor is on the forefront of EV research and development, manufacturing, and investments.
The GACC South is hosting the Transatlantic Electric Mobility Forum, funded by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, to highlight and discuss the exciting expansion of the electrification of transportation in the Southeast. This in-person conference will feature expert keynotes from both sides of the Atlantic, presentations by German EV-related companies, and networking with important stakeholders in the region.
